UNDP Future Tourism Project – 2022 Opportunity for Collaboration

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the University of West Indies Open Campus (UWI) and the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management (FS) are collaborating to deliver the Future Tourism Project, and we are pleased to share with you an opportunity for collaboration.

Training of Trainers in the Business Adaptation Programme methodology for Government Officials and Local Experts

MSMEs across the region greatly benefited from training in three thematic areas that comprised the Business Adaptation Programme; Digital Technologies, Financial Planning and Marketing. To ensure more MSMEs across the Eastern Caribbean region have access to these courses, and ensure the sustainability of the programme, we are running a Training of Trainers in the Business Adaptation Programme courses. We are aiming to train a total of three Government officials and local experts from all 10 countries and territories in the region so that if your Government or your organisation would like to run the Business Adaptation Programme for MSMEs in your country/territory, you have the capacity to do so with support from your Government.

Action required

The training aims to start w/c March 28th 2022, and will run for 8 weeks until June 3rd. It will be an online course delivered by the University of West Indies Open Campus with support from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. We therefore, would like to offer your organisation the opportunity to nominate a total of 2 local experts that have direct or indirect experience in the tourism sector.
